Use of this site constitutes agreement with all terms, conditions and privacy policies of the NATIONAL YOUTH CHEERLEADING CERTIFICATION (NYCC). Copyrighted, trademarked and other proprietary information available through this site may be accessed and used only in accordance with all applicable local and international laws. Use of content by members or non-members other than for the intended purpose is strictly prohibited. The NYCC does not accept responsibility for misuse of information obtained from this site. The material on this site is provided "as is" and without any representation, warranty or guaranty of any kind, expressed or implied.
Certificate
The actual certificate as printed may vary from the image displayed on this website. The purpose of the certificate is to verify that you have certified with the NYCC under the course curriculum that was developed by our instructors. To the knowledge of our instructors, you successfully completed the online certification course. However, our certification provides no assurances, warranties or guarantees as to the practical skill level and proficiency of the student/coach. It is the student/coach's responsibility to ensure that he/she has achieved proficiency on a practical level.
No Reliance
By awarding a certificate, the NYCC is making no assertions as to the moral character of any student/coach. However, each student/coach, by agreeing to these terms, affirms that he/she has not been convicted of any crimes of moral turpitude, or engaged in any predatory acts against children.
Any immoral/unlawful acts on the part of a NYCC cardholder could result in a cancellation of NYCC certification/membership and any privileges arising therefrom. This includes, but is not limited to providing false information to the NYCC in the application/certification process.SS OR DAMAGE FROM ERRORS OR OMISSIONS IN THE MATERIALS ON THIS SITE, WHETHER ARISING IN CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE.
Liability Limitation
The NYCC accepts no liability for the actions, negligence or intentional torts of any certificate holder.
Privacy Policy
This document describes the privacy policies practiced by the NYCC as it applies to its customers and offered services. It covers the collection, use and disclosure of personal information that may be collected by the NYCC whenever you interact with the NYCC, such as when you enroll in NYCC courses, visit our web site, or when you request our customer information. For your understanding, please read the following to learn about our information practices, what information we collect, how it is used, to whom we disclose this information, and how we protect your information.
Personal Data that we collect
The services we offer require that you to register for an account and provide us with some basic personal information. You may be asked to provide your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, member number or other information to allow you to make use of portions of the site. You may always refuse to provide your personal information and this may lead to your inability to use some of the site. We may also collect your domain type, browser version, service provider, operating system, IP address and areas of the site visited by you for the purpose of improving the site.
Data you provide: The NYCC collects personal information when an interested individual registers to take an online cheerleading certification course, or if the individual voluntarily provides this information. This information is used to provide proper certification for individuals who pass our courses and to forward any future newsletters/notices.
Email communication: When you send the NYCC an email (or other communication), we may retain these to fully process your requests, and record purposes.
Web cookies: When you visit the NYCC one or more times, a "cookie" (a small file of text sent by a server to a web browser; after which a message is sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server) may be stored in your computer. Most browsers are set-up to accept these cookies, but you can reset your browser to refuse or clear cookies.
Other sites: This privacy policy applies only to pages and services owned by the NYCC. We have no control over sites that may appear as search results or links from our services. These other sites may be results of web cookies or existing files on your computer, which may also be extracting information from you.
How we may use your personal data
- We will use your personal information in order for our insurance carrier to provide you with insurance coverage.
- The billing information you provide will be used by PayPal to compensate (pay) for NYCC training services, after you have consented to pay.
- We may use this personal information to send out newsletters or important notices.
- We may also use your personal information with third parties, to keep you informed of developments within the youth cheerleading community and when/if required by legal processes.
- We will use this information to contact you if we have any questions regarding the courses you enrolled in, incorrect mailing/email address, or in correspondence of support, technical problems, etc.
- We will maintain your personal information (except billing information) as needed for company records.
Note: You can decline to provide us with personal information. However, NYCC services will not properly function or not function at all as a result.
Privacy Protection
We will not share or sell your personal information without your consent, unless ordered by law. We will have record of the billing information you provide on the NYCC web site. However, this information can only be accessed by PayPal. We take security measures to protect against misuse, loss and/or data alteration by our system. However, we are not liable for any personal information that you submit to the NYCC. All the information that you provide to the NYCC is submitted at your own risk.
We are not liable if there is a security breach on PayPal.
Privacy of Children
By using this site, you affirm that you are at least eighteen years of age. The NYCC encourages parents and guardians to be aware of and participate in their children's online activities. We strictly adhere to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act and will not knowingly register or otherwise collect personally identifiable information from any child under the age of 18.
Security
We have policies and procedures in place to protect the privacy and confidentiality of your personal information that we collect and maintain. All personal information is stored on our secured servers, behind a firewall at a data center with access to data strictly controlled. Any unauthorized use of the site may result in criminal and/or civil prosecution.

This site may contain links to other sites on the Internet that are owned and operated by third parties. The NYCC is not responsible for the collection or use of your information at any third-party site.
Refund Policy
All sales are final. No refunds are available. If you are not satisfied with the content that we have available within our courses, it is your responsibility to stop using our website. We cannot refund you for a course that you have already completed.
